Moms and Dads Experiencing Postpartum Depression, Anxiety, a Difficult Birth, or Infant Loss:

As a new mom, you’re likely exhausted, reading this during a 2AM feed, wondering if the stress will end. You juggle motherhood, friendships, relationships, and perhaps work. Sleep is scarce—feeding, pumping, or watching your baby sleep—and no one truly prepares you for this. There’s no perfect guide to follow.

Not every birth is perfect, and each mom’s experience is unique. If you faced a traumatic birth, know you’re not alone. Society often expects birth to be magical, but your experience may have been tough. When medical staff ignore your needs, or you face emergency C-sections and feel unheard, it can be painful. Long, lonely nights in the nursery can drain you emotionally. Guilt and “what if” thoughts are common, but you did nothing wrong. Feeling sad or ashamed for not meeting societal expectations is normal. Being a parent navigating postpartum is challenging.

I help pregnant and new moms who feel anxious, tired, overwhelmed, sad, or disconnected from their baby. I also support moms and dads who went through a hard birth, like a NICU stay, birth complications, or feeling powerless during delivery. If parents have lost their baby, I’m here to help them cope with grief and pain.

Children Needing Help with Managing Emotions, Grief, or Adjusting to Changes at Home:

A child may be trying to understand their feelings. This might show as tantrums, being quiet, acting out, or having trouble in school. Big changes like moving, a death, or parents divorcing can make it harder for them. Kids need a safe place to share their feelings. I offer counseling for children and teens from age 4 who have trouble managing emotions, expressing themselves, coping, dealing with tantrums, isolating, feeling anxious, struggling in school, or adjusting to family changes.

Athletes Improving Their Performance After an Injury or Feeling Not Good Enough:

To all athletes doing their best, I see you. Playing sports isn’t always easy, and sometimes people expect you to be perfect with no mental struggles. Whether you wear cleats, turf shoes, or court shoes—I know the pressure of being a student-athlete. The high expectations can feel overwhelming.

I’m here to help athletes of all ages improve their mental game. Men and women from any sport can get counseling for things like recovering from injury, handling game day stress, or feeling like you’re not good enough no matter how hard you practice.
